We are here to help you as you help others
Caring for others is deeply meaningful — and often incredibly hard. Whether you’re raising children, looking after an elderly parent, or supporting a partner or family member with a disability or chronic condition, it’s easy to feel emotionally stretched, unseen, or just plain worn out.
What We Work On Together
In their sessions, our psychologists may offer a space to:
- Safely talk about difficult caregiving experiences
- Understand how your caregiving role affects your mental and emotional health
- Set boundaries and communicate more effectively
- Develop emotional regulation and stress-management tools
- Explore identity loss, burnout, or isolation that can come with caregiving
- Reconnect with your own needs
- Identify caregiving resources and support systems available in Dubai and globally
Whether you’re a first-time parent, a caregiver navigating medical systems, or someone juggling both roles, such consultations are designed to help you feel grounded and supported.
Our Approach
We take a relational, compassionate approach that acknowledges your lived experience while giving you the space needed to reflect and rebuild. The psychologist you work with may offer emotional support, insight into psychological and relational dynamics at play, coping strategies, practical coaching, and resource-building.
A few therapeutic modalities that are commonly used by our parenting experts include:
- Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT)
- Attachment-based and relational forms of therapy
- Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT)
- Mindfulness & somatic tools
- Narrative therapy
- Trauma-focused interventions, including EMDR
Who This Is For
We work with:
- Parents (and co-parents) of infants, teens, or adult children
- Caregivers supporting aging parents, spouses, or relatives with illness/disability
- People balancing multiple caregiving roles (the “sandwich generation”)
In working with you we consider that, for most Dubai residents, caring for others without extended family nearby, while also managing careers, cultural expectations, and/or personal transitions can be stressful. We tailor our work with you after carefully assessing these factors to maximize benefit and reduce burden.
Services may be offered in English, Arabic, French, Hindi, Urdu, Farsi, and Finnish, as needed.
